Edit (2017-02-02): I had gone camping with my friend Steve and his son. We drove through Capital Reef the next day, and even ate some (apples?) fruit from an orchard in Fruita. I still remember that Mardson took tiny little bites all over the apple, handed it to me, and it looked like a golf ball!
