Go at 4 years

Recently a nifty graph showed up on the official golang blog, reproduced here:

A friend of mine pointed out that the graph in the article is void of vertical units. I investigated a little bit and found that you can get some interesting graphs when you combine the golang search with others.

I feel bad pointing this out as I am a fairly avid go fan, but here are a few more searches of note:

You’ll note that the scales just aren’t even comparable. Here’s another Language added to the mix:

I guess all I am saying that popularity or search results does not a good language make.
