Sometimes I’m surprised how much influence my kids have on me. I have historically not been a fan of the color red; I prefer dark and muted colors (black, brown, blues, etc).
My son’s favorite color is Red. Actually, he has 3 favorite colors. I noticed that since he asserted that, I’ve started wearing a ton of red, selecting things that are red over other colors, etc. Today, for example, I’m wearing a beanie that Vanessa made for me (red/black), a red sweatshirt, red shoes, and a red lanyard (partially Vanessa’s doing).
